Data from an indirect interactions experiment within the nurse-plant system in Southern Peru

These data corresponds to an experiment conducted in southern Peru. The experiment tracks the direct and indirect effects of dominant plants on understory annual plants. The experiment consisted in removing plant neighbours around 2 target annual species (Plantago limensis and Fuertisimalva peruviana), in two microsites: under the dominant plant (Caesalpinia spinosa), and in open nearby microsites. Biomass, number of fruits, plant height and plant density data is provided. <br>
