Chronosequence_data.xlsx - Experimental results identifying locations with soil microbial communities that suppress the invasive plant Verbena brasiliensis. Spatial_variance_data.xlsx - Experimental results comparing the effects of the soil microbial communities at two sites about 30km apart. Biological_resistance_data.xlsx - Experimental results showing how three soil microbial communities shown previously to suppress V. brasiliensis affect the growth of the invasive plant and a co-occurring native species when introduced into a group of different live background soils.
