A Critical Role of KCNQ1 in Human β-Cell Developmen

We report the KCNQ1 mutation (permant neonatal diabete patient's KCNQ1 homozygous point mutation) negatively affected the expression of the metabolic genes of β-like cells, especially at their late stage. We examine differently expressed genes present in both mutated colonies and were also differently expressed from wild-type (WT) and unmodified-control (UC) of hESCs_H1-derived pancreatic β cell-like organoids.
