资源简介:
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the most dangerous diseases in the world after cardiovascular and oncological diseases. Despite numerous scientific studies devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of DM, the number of patients with diabetes mellitus is constantly growing. As a result, for effective treatment and control of DM, it is necessary to take blood tests from patients from 4 to 7 times a day. When using the standard method of measuring blood glucose levels, patients experience pain, and there is a risk of contracting any disease or infection that often enters the body with blood (for example, hepatitis C, AIDS, etc.). In addition, with regular skin punctures of the finger, calluses form on it, which complicates the blood circulation process. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the patient to measure blood glucose levels in a biochemical laboratory or in medical institutions. In addition, this article provides information about invasive and non-invasive glucometers, their advantages and disadvantages.
