Contribution of medium composition to the transcriptomes of Hela-S3 cells. Homo sapiens

In this study, we newly developed the culture media for culturing the Hela-S3 cells. The resultant media showed either higher or lower cell concentration than the commercially available medium EMEM. The differences and similarity of the transcriptomes of the Hela-S3 cultured at these media were analyzed. RNAseq was performed to address the issue. The purpose of this study is to understand the comprehensive medium optimization to mammalian cell growth.
