Dataset of 400 participants collected through a national online survey using a paid platform to ensure representative sampling along the whole country. The questionnaire included demographic questions, questions on prior AV experience, a ranking task on AV expectations (adapted from Krizsik & Sipos, 2022), and validated scales on initial trust and trust requirements (Hick, Biermann & Ziefle, 2024). Individuals under the age of 18 and/or not livingin Spain were excluded from participating in the survey
