Several interpretive signs along the Byron foreshore to engage, educate and encourage participation in whale watching and other marine environmental activities in the Byron shire. The project will target locals (29,000 in the Shire) and visitors (1.5 million annually). NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (Byron Area) will partner with Council to develop the information in an engaging and accessible format. Other partners include Cape Byrn Marine Parks, SCU Whale Research team and local experts
