Share of body styles among used vehicle sales in Japan 2023

According to a survey conducted in August 2023, the most common body type among used automobile sales in Japan was mini cars, accounting for 37.4 percent of respondents' purchases. Demand by female buyers surpassed that of males by more than ten percent in this category of light motor vehicles, also known as kei cars.
