资源简介:

Data support a sound-enrichment experiment to evaluate the effect of sound exposure on fish community structure and the extent to which changes in species abundances were linked to hearing ability. Data of fish hearing thresholds were compiled from audiograms published in the literature. Data are compiled on fish hearing acuity by length, species, adaptations, and ecosystem. The recordings of underwater sounds were taken during the period from June to October 2019 in the province of Quebec in Canada. The variables are classified according to their source: ambient and anthropogenic. The variables measured are the maximum intensity of the sounds and the sensitive frequency. Other data show how the behavioral response of 30 species of fish in a fluvial lake of the St. Lawrence (Quebec, Canada) is correlated with the presence or absence of different auditory adaptations. The data describe the location, the logistic variables, the physico-chemical characteristics, and count by fish species.
