This dataset supports a manuscript that verifies a patient-specific Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) model of aortic stenosis against in vitro experiments. The in vitro experiments include a mock-loop circulatory system with rubber valve models derived from patient CT images, both with and without calcifications. Experiments were conducted under varying flow conditions simulating rest and exercise, based on clinical measurements during dobutamine stress testing, with dobutamine infusion rates of 0, 5, 10, and 20 microg/kg/min. During the experiments pressures were measured proximally and distally to the rubber valve with 10EZ pressure sensors. Flow was measured distally to the valve using an ultrasonic flow probe. Valve movement was recorded with an endoscope connected to a camera. The experiment was replicated in the FSI model, implemented in LS-DYNA R16. Flow and valve dynamics of the in vitro experiments and the FSI model were compared. This data set contains:1) Matlab scripts to reproduce figures of manuscript.2) Post-processed simulation and experimental data needed to reproduce figures of manuscript.3) LS-DYNA input files for the simulations (.k files).
