Geological, petrographic and geochemical investigations of Permian magmatites in Saarland

This study deals with potassium-rich igneous rocks of the Permian Grenz-series in the Saarland. The working area is located approx. 30 km NNW Saarbrücken and occupies part in the W of sheet 6507 Lebach of the topographic map 1 : 25 000. The investigations are intended to clarify questions about the genesis of the K-rich magmatites at the outcrop Himmelberg.
