On June 27, 2023, observation records of Chaetophiloscia sicula were downloaded from iNaturalist. These records represent the first documented occurrences of the species in New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Nathan T. Jones confirmed all iNaturalist records by examining the accompanying photos. Moreover, specimens from the Texas and Virginia populations were further verified through dissection. <br> <br>
