This BioProject encompasses multi-omics data generated to investigate the molecular mechanisms behind the fast coagulation phenotype in rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) latex. The study focuses on the widely cultivated clone CATAS 7-33-97. Latex samples were collected from 16-year-old trees (with 9 years of tapping history) showing no visible symptoms of tapping panel dryness. Samples were categorized into two groups: a fast-coagulation group (FCG) and a normal-coagulation control group (CK). The project includes transcriptomic (RNA-seq) data to assess gene expression differences, as well as 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing data to profile the bacterial and fungal communities within the latex, aiming to explore potential microbial associations with the coagulation trait. This integrated approach aims to provide insights into the physiological and ecological factors influencing latex flow duration and laticifer plugging.
