Appearance comparison and social connectedness among Filipino micro-influencers engaging with looksmaxxing content: survey data, coded interview excerpts and analysis code

Survey data (N = 302), coded interview excerpts, analysis code, and the figures and tables reported in the article "Appearance comparison and social connectedness among Filipino micro-influencers engaging with looksmaxxing content: a mixed-methods decomposition". The survey file holds item-level responses on the Physical Appearance Comparison Scale-Revised, the Body Dissatisfaction Scale, the Body Checking Questionnaire and the Social Connectedness Scale-Revised, with age, gender, primary platform and follower count. The interview file holds 128 de-identified excerpts from 10 participants in the original Taglish, each with a literal English rendering, a language label, and the first- and second-cycle qualitative codes. Two further files hold the construct-coverage coding, both coders' independent levels and the agreement statistics. reproduce_analysis.py reproduces every quantitative result in the article from these files, including the latent-variable structural model, the bootstrap intervals, the robustness and confounding analyses, and the exclusion-set sensitivity table. It ends with a self-check against the published values and exits non-zero on failure. README.md documents the scoring rules used for each instrument, the construct-coding scheme, the translation conventions and the checks that enforce them, what the script does and does not reproduce, and what the deposit does not establish. Identifying spans in the interview excerpts are replaced with bracketed markers; the de-identification log records the kind of information removed and the reason, deliberately not the original text.
