Experimental data of incident wave

This dataset was generated through three-dimensional full elastic wavefield finite-difference numerical simulation and is intended to provide benchmark data for azimuth identification and imaging studies in acoustic remote sensing (acoustic logging). The data simulates the full waveforms recorded by a circumferentially distributed azimuth receiver array in a well when a dipole shear wave (SH wave) source radiates within formations containing complex geological structures such as fractures and interfaces. The dataset comprehensively records the time-series waveforms at each receiver azimuth, clearly reflecting the sensitive variations of wavefield amplitude and phase with azimuth angle. It can be directly used for the development and testing of signal processing algorithms such as azimuthal beamforming, polarity correction, and migration imaging. This synthetic dataset provides a reliable data foundation for evaluating the azimuthal resolution performance of acoustic sensor arrays, validating inversion methods, and studying wave propagation mechanisms in anisotropic media.
