Dataset for "Parallax-Driven Denoising of Passive Non-Line-of-Sight Thermal Imagery"

Dataset for the paper titled "Parallax-Driven Denoising of Passive Non-Line-of-Sight Thermal Imagery."

The folder format goes as follows:

bare/bmason/ground/pat1/pat2/pat3 - the surface being used in the experiment. Bare has no inhomogeneities, pat1/2/3 have some inhomogeneities created by paint samples and tape, bmason is the "black masonite" which is much more diffusive, and ground is the metallic surface which is entirely reflective.

rtemp/hc4 - Room temperature surface or some hot/cold areas (named "4" since I tried several times with less success).

pos0/1/2 - position of the person. Pos 0 is closest, pos 1 is what is typically reported in the paper, pos 2 is farthest away.

In each folder are mat files of the light field cube, parameters of the cube, and parameters of the scene. There also are denoising results. To create these denoising results or analyze the results, please refer to the Github code. Specifically, "perform_analysis/loadin_data.m" and "perform_denoising/run_denoising_reconstruction_script.m" show how to interact with the data.
