Microbiome of coral and its boundary layers in coral-algae interaction

We examined the bacterial microbiome (16s rDNA) of the coral species Pocillopora acuta as well as its diffusive (DBL) and momentum (MBL) boundary layers to assess the effects of contact and water-mediated interactions with the algae Dictyota bartayresiana.
