资源简介:

LEAP Cities Index 2026 — city scores City-level scores from the LEAP Cities Index 2026, a comparable ranking of 233 Tier-2 and Tier-3 Indian cities outside the eight largest metros. India's national accounts do not estimate output below the state level, so there is no official measure of the size or sectoral composition of a city's economy. This index fills that gap: it is built from 43 variables from official and administrative sources, organised into eight pillars each mapped to a sector of the Gross Value Added (GVA) classification, and combined into a single composite score. Coverage: 233 cities — 94 Tier-2 and 139 Tier-3 — across 23 states and union territories. Vintage v2026.2. The CSV has 13 columns: Rank; City; State; Tier (T2/T3); Composite index (0–100); and the eight pillar scores (0–100) — Manufacturing; Trade & Hospitality; Transport & Logistics; Financial Services; Construction & Capital Formation; Health; Education; Living Foundation. Method: each underlying variable is converted to a city's percentile standing among the 233 cities; a pillar score is the equal-weighted mean of its variables' standings; the composite is the equal-weighted mean of the eight pillar scores. Scores are relative — they place a city against its peers, not on an absolute output scale — and mid-table ranks are best read as broad bands rather than exact positions. Licence: CC BY 4.0.
