Overview This dataset contains retrieval and measurement data of ozone from MIRA2, a microwave radiometer located in Kiruna, Sweden. The dataset was used in a study comparing ozone retrievals from MIRA2 with those from the Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) over the period from 1 October 2019 to 1 May 2020. It was also used to estimate chemical ozone loss during the Northern Hemisphere winter of 2019/2020. Dataset The data are stored hierarchically in an HDF5 (.hdf5) file. The top-level groups are timestamps represented as strings in the format “%Y%m%dT%H%M%S”, corresponding to the date and time at the midpoint of each measurement. Each timestamp group contains associated metadata stored as attributes. Within each timestamp group, two subgroups are defined: “measurement” and “retrieval”, which contain the measurement data and retrieved data, respectively.
