16SRNA sequencing reveals that isoorientin regulates changes in intestinal flora

Here, we investigated the mitigating effect of ISO on DSS-induced ulcerative colitis in mice. 16sRNA sequencing revealed that ISO was able to regulate the gut microbiota and its metabolites through fecal microbiota transplantation, thereby affecting the upregulation of the expression of P transporter proteins in the colon epithelium, which further validated the further validation of the protective effect of ISO against DSS-induced colitis.
