资源简介:
The goal of the paper is to relate the geochemical enrichment observed in southern hemisphere hotspots to deep subduction of continental crust during southern hemisphere assembly of Gondwana and Pangaea from 650-300 Ma. There are no new geochemical measurements made in the paper. However, the dataset provided to EarthChem provides shapefiles for use in GPlates that allows the reader to reconstruct the calculations made in the paper. The dataset also provides text (and associated references) used to compile the geochemical dataset, plume advection models, and the passive margin database. The dataset provided to EarthChem also includes the following tables provided in the paper: -->Table S1. Data for 58 known hotspots (46 oceanic and 12 continental hotspots) summarized from Jackson et al. (Jackson et al., 2021). -->Table S2. Area normalized paleolatitude from 1000-520 Ma. -->Table S3. Passive margins of the past billion years, described in the supplementary text by ID number with references. -->Table S4. Summed length of passive margins and passive margin terminations. -->Table S5. Low temperature/pressure, ultrahigh pressure metamorphism (Brown & Johnson, 2019) with reconstructed paleolatitudes at 5° resolution from GPlates using Plate IDs and rotation files from Merdith et al. (2021), with modifications of Paleozoic terranes in Asia from Domeier (Domeier, 2018) and Mesoproterozoic of Laurentia from Swanson-Hysell et al. (2019).
