The Kongsfjorden is fjord of the west Spitsbergen and located in the Svalbard archipelago. Chlorophyll a samples were collected from the Kongsfjorden from April and Jun, 2018 onboard the Teisten.
The purpose of this study were (i) to investigate spatial variation in phytoplankton size structure based on chlorophyll a data (ii) to estimate contribution of pico-phytoplankton to total biomass during April and Jun in the Kongsfjorden, Svalbard.
