资源简介:
This so-called [hanging-vessel](https://bit.ly/3dNlzjz) of [bronze](https://bit.ly/3lYUMWc) was found at the east coast of southern Sweden. It was discovered by a hunter in 1870 in [Bjurvik](https://bit.ly/3pSQ9hj), Hjorted parish in Småland (SHM 4323). The area is rich in remains from the [Bronze Age](https://bit.ly/3s0KR64) . The hanging-vessel was found together with a large [neck-ring](https://bit.ly/3yim7rj) with elaborate decoration in the same style. Hanging-vessels were probably used as a type of dress-ornament or accessory to the female dress. No hanging-vessel has been found in situ in a grave in Sweden yet but hanging-vessels seen on bronze-figurines indicate that they were worn at the back in a belt. This vessel is dated to the end of the Bronze Age, circa 700-500 BC (period VI). It was made by [lost-wax casting](https://bit.ly/31VERRp) (cire-perdue) in Southern Scandinavia or Northern Germany. The elegant decorations were most likely made already in the wax before the casting. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
