The observation site was established to observe the carbon budget and carbon cycle in a deciduous coniferous forest (larch forest) ecosystem spreading across Northeast Asia.
Larch forests are established on permafrost over eastern and central Siberia. Larch forests on permafrost, which can only be found in this region of the earth, are widespread.
The larch forest ecosystem is spreading, which can only be found in this region of the earth.
The eddy covariance system was used to measure the sensible heat, latent heat, and CO2 turbulent fluxes at a point about 13 m above the forest canopy at the tower.
General meteorological observations were made continuously at an open field in an urban area 25 km away from the tower.
本观测站点的设立初衷为监测分布于东北亚的落叶针叶林(落叶松林)生态系统的碳收支与碳循环过程。落叶松林广泛分布于东西伯利亚与中西伯利亚的永久冻土(permafrost)区域,仅在地球该区域存在的永久冻土带落叶松林分布广泛。该落叶松林生态系统正逐步扩张,且仅存于地球此区域。研究采用涡度协方差系统(eddy covariance system),在铁塔林冠上方约13米处测定感热、潜热与二氧化碳湍流通量。在距离该铁塔25公里的城区开阔场地,开展了持续的常规气象观测。
