资源简介:

This dataset contains data from 740 lower-secondary school students (ages 13–15), including gender (1 = male, 2 = female), assessing school-related social anxiety, academic self-concept, and peer social integration. Social anxiety in school was measured using two school-relevant subscales of the Social Anxiety Questionnaire for Children (SAQ-C; Caballo et al., 2012, 2016): Speaking with Teachers (SA01–SA04) and Criticism & Embarrassment (SA05–SA08). Academic self-concept (AS01–AS09) and social integration (SI01–SI10) were derived from a Multidimensional School Well-being Questionnaire based on the Dutch Schoolvragenlijst (Smits & Vorst, 1982; Van Damme et al., 2002; Van Landeghem et al., 2002). All items were rated on 5-point Likert scales with higher number indicating grater levels of respective constructs (social anxiegty, academic self-concept or peer social integration). The datasets have been pre-processed and recoded, so negatively worded items are reverse-coded where appropriate. Data were collected during autumn and spring 2023.
