Community structure and Biogeography of glacial bacteria. ice metagenome

We characterized the supraglacial bacteria communities from three continental glaciers and three maritime glaciers in China. This is a comprehensive investigation to bacterial composition and diversity on glacial surface in China using 454 pyrosequencing data. We also tried to study the biogeography of glacial bacteria considering geographic distance, contemporary climate and physicochemical characteristics.
