Ocean and sea ice namelists used in the simulations described in "The sensitivity of a coupled climate model to numerical mixing in its ocean component" by Alex Megann, Dan Copsey, and Amber Walsh

This archive contains the ocean (NEMO) and sea ice (SI3) namelists for the integrations described in the manuscript "The sensitivity of a coupled climate model to numerical mixing in its ocean component" by Alex Megann, Dan Copsey, and Amber Walsh (submitted to Journal of Climate) The work uses the Hadley Centre Global Environment Model in Global Coupled configuration Version 5 (HadGEM3-GC5; Xavier et al, 2024), with a 1/4° ocean component (GOSI9, Guiavarc'h et al., 2025) and an N96 atmosphere (Met Office Unified Model version 12.2). The control integration (zstar_control) uses the same namelist settings as in the standard GC5 configuration. The prefixes for the file names refer to the specific integration described in the paper, and the differences from the default settings are fully described in the respective namelist. The sea ice model settings are identical for each integration, but the namelist for each is provided separately for completeness.
