This dataset is a compilation of Level 2 offline methane products from the Sentinel-5P satellite in September 2019. The data originates from the TROPOMI sensor aboard the Sentinel-5P satellite, which was launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) for greenhouse gas and trace gas monitoring and is capable of global daily revisit. To facilitate access for domestic users, this dataset is curated and maintained by the team at the National Earth Observation Science Data Center, who packages individual products into monthly compressed datasets for data distribution and related services.
