This data set contains research data collected as part of a PhD-project at Leipzig University. It contains mostly data concerning 77 societies and clubs in 17th century Leipzig and other places, their 1370 members as well as birth and death places and a classification of occupations of the members. The data model is documented in an XSD-schema file and uses element and attribute names taken from the TEI-P5 alongside own names.
