Dataset used for the study of the Golden Gospel of Ham.

Extraction of the data present in Beta maṣāḥǝft: Manuscripts of Ethiopia and Eritrea (Schriftkultur des christlichen Äthiopiens und Eritreas: eine multimediale Forschungsumgebung) research environment edited and used for an article entitled "Giving Depth to TEI-Based Descriptions of Manuscripts. The Golden Gospel of Ham", submitted and accepted for publication in Aethiopica. The TEI XML data includes in their expanded version the encoded manuscript description of Ham, Dabra Libānos, Golden Gospel, and the Textual Units used to encode each identified text as of the edition of Carlo Conti Rossini. The Xquery scripts where used to extract tables of data for analysis and visualisation as detailed in the publication. The live version of these files is available via http://betamasaheft.eu/.
