Intestinal Microbiota of whiteleg shrimp (Penaeus vannamei)

Metagenomics is the study of genetic material recovered directly from environmental or clinical samples by a method called sequencing. The broad field may also be referred to as environmental genomics, ecogenomics, community genomics or microbiomics. Here the gut microbiome of white leg shrimp is studied after fed with Moringa leaves to see the effects. High-throughput sequencing analysis indicated that the dietary supplementation with moringa and L. acidophilus affected the gut microbiota composition.
