Images and Report from an Analytical Buildings Record Survey (Level 3) at Lawton House Farm, Bartle, Lancashire, October-November 2023

This collection comprises images and a report from an analytical buildings record survey (Level 3) at Lawton House Farm, Bartle, Lancashire. This work was undertaken by The Archaeology Co. in October to November 2023. The building appears to have been built c. 1867 as a combination barn comprising a threshing barn, storage area, shippon, stable and cart shed, with yard to the front. It was later modernised in the 20th century with the shippon updated and the function of the rooms altered through the insertion of walls and the blocking and insertion of doors.
