Historical and Projected Climate datasets under the Shared Socioeconomic Pathway Scenarios (SSPs) for the Greater Accra region, Ghana

The study used six different Regional Climate Models to assess the SSPs of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) over Greater Accra. The CMIP6 models were applied to simulate future seasonal and annual temperature and precipitation over the region in four SSPs until the 2050s, thus providing support for understanding climate change implications over megacities like Accra.
