Data for article title "A systematic review of Artificial intelligence models used in the diagnosis, intervention, and prevention of maternal morbidity"

Despite extensive efforts by government agencies and health organizations, maternal morbidity and mortality remains a critical public health challenge worldwide, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Although there are previous systematic reviews on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) models in maternal health, these have focused mainly on specific aspects such as prediction of preeclampsia or preterm delivery. However, they do not comprehensively address the potential of AI in the diagnosis, intervention and prevention of maternal morbidity. This systematic review proposes a more comprehensive view that evaluates the use of AI models across the entire spectrum of maternal care, identifying methodological gaps, clinical implementation limitations, and opportunities for future research.The full protocol for this systematic literature review is published in PROSPERO: PROSPERO 2025 CRD420251024044.
