Pairwise whole-genome alignments (PAF format) for 28 long-lived/short-lived vertebrate species pairs spanning five clades (cetacean, primate, turtle, fish, sturgeon; 26 unique species). Each alignment maps a long-lived reference genome against its closest short-lived relative, generated with minimap2 (preset asm20, --cs). Produced by the COMPASS pipeline (COMParative Analysis of Species Survival) to support cross-pair comparison of genomic feature-class differences associated with exceptional longevity.
