International Fatigue Database in Support of Nuclear Energy Safety

Catalog of data constituting the International Fatigue Database in Support of Nuclear Energy Safety.
Strain and stress controlled low cycle fatigue testing performed in air and simulated Pressurized Water Reactor primary coolant environments.
Objectives:
To obtain the scientific data needed to establish an International Fatigue Database;
To improve the co-ordination and effectiveness of co-operation efforts between the Parties and the Commission in the field of nuclear safety;
To promote mutual interest and co-operation in understanding and resolving nuclear safety issues;
To deepen the understanding of the scientific, economic and social issues relating to nuclear safety.

Benchmarking of codified and non-codified methods.
Exploration of data coverage and gaps to inform future RD&I.
