Clinical and Nutritional Characteristics Dataset of Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Primary Care in Mexico

This dataset contains anonymized clinical and nutritional information from patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) receiving outpatient care in Mexico. The dataset includes sociodemographic, anthropometric, and clinical variables related to disease progression, adherence to clinical guidelines, risk factors, pharmacotherapy, history of exacerbations, and oximetry parameters. Data were organized and cleaned for scientific reuse, epidemiological analyses, and research related to chronic respiratory diseases, clinical nutrition, and comprehensive patient care. A bilingual variable dictionary (Spanish-English) is included to facilitate data interpretation and reuse. All records were anonymized prior to integration and contain no direct patient identifiers. Data collection and management were conducted according to international ethical principles for health research, respecting confidentiality, privacy, and data protection standards, in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable regulations.
