资源简介:
Programmed cell death is a fundamental process that plays a crucial role in the pathophysiology of PCOS. Despite this, the specific contributions of ferroptosis as well as the various types and mechanisms of cell death involved in PCOS remain to be fully elucidated. The AMPK/mTOR pathway is known to be integral to the regulation of ferroptosis. Previous studies have indicated that ASGR1 inhibits AMPK and activates the mTOR pathway. However, there is limited knowledge regarding whether levels of ASGR1 are elevated in PCOS, and direct evidence supporting a role for ASGR1 in the ferroptosis associated with PCOS is currently insufficient. Further investigation is needed to explore the underlying mechanisms by which ASGR1 may influence ferroptosis within the context of PCOS.
