Assessing field cancerization and actinic keratosis using ultraviolet-induced fluorescence dermatoscopy after the application of 5-aminolevulinic acid - an observational study

This dataset contains 192 UVFD images registered from 40 patients, using a UVFD dermatoscope (DermLite DL5, 10x magnification) coupled to a smartphone. For more details please refer to the article: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.pdpdt.2024.104056.Image data is stored in PNG format and named as followed: pX_markerID where pX is patient identifier and markerID is unique marker identifier for each patient. Lesions were assessed with the Olsen scale using clinical photos by 2 investigators. IDs of each image with corresponding grades are stored in markers_stage.csv file, where MARKER_ID is image identifier and GRADE 0: field cancerization, 1-3: corresponding AK stages (AKI, AKII and AKIII).This retrospective study was conducted at the Department of Dermatology of Poznan University of Medical Sciences from June to November 2023. The study was approved by the Local Ethics Committee (Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Protocol Number 523/23).
