Transcriptome of migrating mouse dendritic cells

The ability of cells to migrate is essential for development, tissue homeostasis, and immune responses. To screen for pathways relevant for migration in tissue-like 3D environments, we here employed fast migrating dendrtic cells as a cellular model and established transcriptomics of migrating DCs in collagen networks of lower and higher complexity, in comparison to DCs without a surrounding collagen matrix. Overall design: bone-marrow derived LPS stimulated mouse dendritic cells migrating in 3D collagen matrices of different densities; transcriptome analysis after 5 hours.
