Raw data for "Trends and levels of global, regional, and national burden of appendicitis from 1990 to 2021: An age-period-cohort analysis using the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021"

This dataset contains the raw data underlying the analyses presented in the article “Trends and levels of global, regional, and national burden of appendicitis from 1990 to 2021: An age-period-cohort analysis using the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021.” Data were extracted from the Global Burden of Disease 2021 database and include ASPR, ASMR, ASDR, corresponding absolute numbers, and Estimated Annual Percentage Change (EAPC) for 21 regions and 204 countries from 1990 to 2021. These data allow replication of the main results of the study and can be used for further epidemiological and public health analyses.
