Genome annotations of <i>Bipolaris</i> and related Pleosporaceae species for comparative genomics.

This dataset provides comprehensive genome annotation data for multiple strains of <i>Bipolaris</i> species and other related fungi within the Pleosporaceae family. The annotated genomes include strains of <i>Bipolaris oryzae</i> (syn. <i>Cochliobolus miyabeanus</i>), along with additional <i>Bipolaris</i> species and representative taxa from Pleosporaceae, which are known for their roles as plant pathogens and producers of diverse secondary metabolites.Annotations were generated using the BRAKER3 pipeline with proteome-guided gene prediction, and were functionally characterized through OmicsBox.
