Android was the leading tablet operating system (OS) in Germany in the fourth quarter of 2024, with a market share of around 61 percent. Apples' iOS was once the dominant tablet operating system, having been installed on over three quarters of tablets in Germany in 2013, though it saw its market share shrink over the past decade.
