FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PATHOMORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE LIVER IN HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIA UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF VARIOUS RISK FACTORS

Hypercholesterolemia is a significant risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases (ASCVD) and liver disorders. This study investigates the pathomorphological changes in the liver under hypercholesterolemia, particularly in the presence of risk factors, such as, physical inactivity, alcohol consumption, and nicotine exposure. These factors contribute to fatty degeneration, inflammation, and fibrosis in liver tissue.
