Gene expression data for BET inhibitors

The BET (bromodomain and extra-terminal) family of acetyl-lysine reader proteins acts as transcriptional activators. BET inhibitors showed anti-cancer efficacies. We performed microarray analysis to characterize BET inhibitor-induced gene expression alterations. MV4-11 leukimia cells were cultured using the RPMI1640 medium. Cells were plated on 6-well plates at the day before drug treatment, and DMSO, DW-71374 (300 nM), DW-71177 (300 nM), OTX-015 (300 nM), and RVX-208 (5 uM) were treated during 24 h. After extracting Total RNA and assessing RNA purity and integrity by ND-1000 Spectrophotometer, the RNA samples were applied to the Affymetrix Whole transcript Expression microarray according to the manufacturer's protocol (Affymetrix GeneChip Human 2.0 ST Array).
