资源简介:
Accumulating evidence reveal the bidirectional interaction between gut micribiota and alcohol use disorder (AUD), however, the truly correlation between altered taxonomic and AUD was confounded by the dynamic variation of gut microbiome. The aim of the study is to understand if there are common differences in gut microbiota between these two ethnic groups and to identify any potential correlations with AUD. The results of the study revealed that both Han and Uyghur patients with AUD exhibited differences, which refers to an imbalance in gut microbial communities. Interestingly, despite the variations in gut microbiota composition between the two ethnic groups, certain patterns of changes were observed in both populations. Furthermore, the study found specific bacteria that were significantly associated with AUD in both Han and Uyghur patients, including genera such as Klebsiella, Blautia, Lachnoclostridium, and species such as Blautia obeum, Eubacterium hallii, and Ruminococcus torques. Additionally, we discovered differential pathways using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes to explore hypothetical mechanisms. Overall, this study suggests that identical differences of the gut microbiota are present in both Han and Uyghur patients with AUD. Further research in this area may provide valuable insights into the common therapeutic target for AUD treatment.
