aIndicates that models differed only in how maternal age affected social rank K indicates the number of parameters and wi indicates the AICc weight. Bentler Comparative Fit Index (CFI) indicates the performance of proposed models. The model name indicates which variables had direct paths to fawn birth mass. Our top model is represented in Fig 3.
