De novo transcriptome analysis of the oleaginous Scenedesmus acutes TRISTR8540. was performed in order to generate a reference transcriptome for gene discovery and metabolic pathway reconstitution. RNA were extracted from cells cultivated in Tris-acetate medium with or without nitrogen source. Illumina RNA-seq strategy was used to obtain approximately 16G data of pair-endx100bp reads. De novo transcriptome was generated using Trinity software. Annotation was performed by Blast2GO.
