The study aimed to determine whether longer manipulation by laparoscopic instruments would mechanically wear out the seal of laparoscopic trocars and cause gas leakages. Using a surgical model, we used an electric actuator to create the motion between the instruments and trocars. The gas flow was measured using a gas flow sensor as well as the abdominal pressure inside the cavity.The data consists of one TDMS file for each of the trocars that was tested. The raw data for gas flow, abdominal pressure and instrument insertion height are contained within the file in the tabs for each step of the measurement protocol.

本研究旨在探究腹腔镜器械更长时长的操作是否会对腹腔镜套管针(laparoscopic trocars)的密封结构造成机械磨损,并引发气体泄漏。本研究借助手术模型,通过电动执行器模拟器械与套管针之间的相对运动,采用气体流量传感器与腹腔内压力传感器分别测量气体流量与腹腔内压力。本数据集为每支受试套管针对应一个TDMS文件,每个TDMS文件的各测量规程步骤对应的标签页中,均存储有气体流量、腹腔内压力以及器械插入高度的原始数据。
