Differences in Dust Release, Near-Surface Transport Structure, and Static Settling among Farmland Soils under Wind Erosion

This dataset contains the experimental data used in a wind-tunnel study of dust release, near-surface transport, and post-event static settling from seven typical farmland soils collected in central-western Inner Mongolia, northern China. The dataset includes soil structural properties, steady-state particle release intensity, vertically resolved transport mass and particle-size measurements under five wind speeds (8.0, 9.5, 11.0, 12.5, and 14.0 m s⁻¹), and time-series deposition data collected after a 10 min wind-erosion event at 14.0 m s⁻¹. These data were used to compare structural differences among soils and to analyze process linkages across the release–transport–deposition continuum.
